Vaisnavas C.A.R.E. inc. is dedicated to His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada Founder-acarya of the International Society for Krsna Consciousness (ISKCON)
Vaisnavas C.A.R.E. (Counseling, Assistance, Resource, and Education) is a worldwide network of volunteers who offer their support to the terminally ill and their loved ones. Through education, website support, and volunteer assistance, Vaisnavas C.A.R.E. (aka V-C.A.R.E.) offers comfort to those in need by integrating the knowledge of caring for the terminally-ill with the spiritual wisdom given to us by His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada.
An online course is included at no charge in this website that can give one a basic understanding of caring for the terminally-ill and their family. A certificate of completion is awarded after the completion of the course.
It is important to note that Vaisnavas C.A.R.E. Inc. is not a hospice organization. We encourage anyone diagnosed with a terminal disease to contact a local licensed hospice agency in their community to receive the many professional services they offer. Where available, Vaisnavas C.A.R.E. volunteers will provide additional emotional, spiritual and practical support to those facing end-of-life issues.
Prayer Request for Hari Vallabha's Mother
July 26, 2010
Dear devotees,
Please pray for Hari vallabha prabhu's mother, who has been in critical situation in the ICU since the last 10 days.
She was on a ventilator, but tonight this was removed, and now it is up to Krishna what He wants to do.
Please also pray for Hari vallabha prabhu and his wife and family. This is a difficult time for all of them.
Thank you, on behalf of prabhu and his family.

Based on the teachings of the Vedic scriptures, His Holiness Sivarama Swami speaks in this podcast about the unfortunate karmic results of one who takes his own life. He answers the question about what activities we can perform as Vaisnavas to help minimize the suffering of the soul who, for whatever reason, commits suicide. We hope this podcast answers some concerns you may have.
In Memoriam
Aindra Prabhu
My dear Aindra Prabhu,
Your sudden departure is a great loss for us all. Your kirtans and words gave shelter and enlightenment to devotees and ultimately the world. We have lost a dear friend and well-wisher. I shall try to follow in your mood of service.
This evening (July 15, 2010) at 7:18pm, Vicitravirya prabhu passed away in very peaceful and blessed circumstances. His departure was very gentle in the presence of his children and devotees with Srila Prabhupada's kirtan. We had been able to make all the preparations, offer our prayers and encourage Vici to place himself solely in Prabhupada's hands. We will miss him dearly, but are relieved that he is free of such a debilitated condition and is now on his way to continue his service to the sankirtan movement... Read more...

A Poem from Braja-Sevaki Devi Dasi on the Passing of Vaisnavas Submitted by New Vrindavan Communications

There’s a hole left in the kirtan cloud that hovers up above
It sits above our ISKCON world, showering us with love
It’s dark and deep, filled with music notes from Sri Golok
And through its soft white tendrils pass extraordinary folk... Read more...
