I have been suffering from FMS and CFS (Chronic Fatigue
Syndrome) since 2003, getting worse, been to doctors, heard
them, followed them, I guess chanting the Holy Name is the only
panacea...
I wonder how many doctors would ever feel for their patients and diagnose that it is FMS instead of pacifying the patient with numerous lab tests and steroids, anti-depressants and muscle relaxants.
My OBGYN was a very kind soul. He told me that I suffer from
FM. Then I began reading on the various websites and got an
insight into my existing physical condition. Other
specialists simply made me run around the bush giving me
temporary relief and sadness.
Now I am on my own, taking an herbal supplement -- Bosiwillian
from the health food store, taking aspirin for my constant chest
pain (inflammation of chest muscles), multivitamins, do as
little as possible at home because I get very tired very
soon, completely changed person --very slow and lethargic,
tremendous loss of memory and most embarrassing unable to solve
simple arithmetic in classroom involving multiplication
sometimes and unable to coin words while talking with students.
The saddest aspect to this suffering is that the face of the patient does not speak about the tremendous pain so the family, friends and colleagues are most of the time unaware how much pain one has to constantly go through.
I would love to get in touch with someone who suffers from FMS
and CFS, if you know anybody in our vaisnavascare, please let me
know if possible.
Thanks,
Regards,
Sriji dasi
