Subject: Prayer Request for Bhaktirasa Prabhu

Dear Devotees,

We are asking for prayers for this sincere devotee, Bhaktirasa Prabhu, who was diagnosed with advanced kidney cancer two years ago.  He was born with only one kidney so this diagnosis is very grave for him.  Bhaktirasa has been a devotee for 26 years and has done much service including preaching, running restaurants, leading kirtan and making devotional recordings.  He is now in a care center and his health is rapidly declining.  Please pray to our dear Lord Krsna for strength and peace for Bhaktirasa Prabhu; to help him to always keep the Lord's pastimes and qualities foremost in him mind, and to allow him to always remain at His lotus feet.

Your servants at Vaisnavas C.A.R.E.

You can also contact Bhaktirasa Prabhu at bhakti@slingshot.co.nz  He would love to hear from you.

Sri Sri Radha Madan Mohan,

Your name, qualities, and pastimes are so attractive that they can capture
the mind with ease. Please help Bhaktirasa prabhu's mind become
captivated by Your trancendental nature and become completely steady
despite facing the deterioration of his material body. I pray that Your
sweet names are his constant companion as Your merciful plan unfolds for
him.

Our dear Lord Nityananda and Lord Gauranga,

Please accept our humble obeisances. We pray to you with great humility
and beg for your Divine Mercy to be showered on Bhaktirasa das who is in
pain and distress. If it pleases Your Lordships please arrange for a kind
kidney donor to help Bhaktirasa das. Please cast Your Merciful glance upon
him so that all trials and tribulations will seem very light and easy to
bear. Please help him to hold on tightly to the lotus feet of Srila
Prabhupada and the Holy Name. We pray that Your Mercy will tide him over everything. Just recently a devotee at New Talavana received a kidney that saved her life. If it pleases You may the same happen for Bhaktirasa das.

Your humble servants,
Sridevi dasi and Nanda Suta das. New Talavana, MS,

Hare Krishna Bhaktirasa prabhu,

I am praying to Srila Prabhupada to shower his unlimited mercy upon you in these days that you are having to go through so much,  May all the devotees be present always in your life and that you will be awarded Pure Devotion in the service of the Lord.  Someone who has dedicated so much in KC has never to be afraid, Srila Prabhupada personally guarantees that he will be present to help everyone who even showers a little interest in KC let alone someone who has done so much.

There is One Friend of Krsna here who has taken to KC just a few months
ago.  Last week she was also told she has cancer. She told me that it was
the best thing that the Lord could do was for her to encounter the
devotees. She is now chanting 5 rounds a day and trying to do as much as
possible in her KC life. She said that if she hadn't known the devotees she
would of been devastated at this news, but she is now trying to take shelter in Srila Prabhupadas Books. So this is to encourage you. You who have done so much service for Srila Prabhupada, who has chanted rounds for such a long time. This is just a little puddle that you have to cross. Whatever is the desire of the Lord; if you stay or leave it is the same. You can
serve SP here or there. Prabhu, you are in complete safe hands with the
devotees and Srila Prabhupada- when he does call you then you can join
him peacefully. Your service is not wasted, and NOW is the start of real
devotion to the Lord and Srila Prabhupada!

Wishing you all the best, my prayers are with you

Dear Bhaktirasa Prabhu,

Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada. All
glories to Sri Sri Radhe Shyama. All glories to all the brave Vaishnava
devotees of the Lord. All glories to your wonderful devotional service.

You have been through so much- physically and mentally. Yet you are
continually persevering. Krishna tests His devotee- because He knows that
His devotees will pass the test. And through His loving devotees- He
teaches the world. In this way both the devotee and the merciful Lord
become glorified. Also in class, we read a famous verse from the Srimad
- Bhagavatam - Canto ten, chapter 14, verse 8. If a devotee accepts his
suffering -and continues to offer obeisances to the Lord from the heart,
he naturally becomes an heir to the kingdom of God. This is a curative
treatment- administered personally by the hand of the Lord. Also, Srila
Prabhupada and Krishna remember even the smallest service rendered. And
you have dedicated your life to Their service. So there is no doubt that
They will make the best arrangements for Their dear servant. I pray that
I can follow in your footsteps and become an inspiration to the
Vaishnava community. I am spending some time in Sri Vrindavana Dhama. I
shall pray to the Sri Sri Radhe Shyama, Sri Sri Krishna Balarama, Sri
Sri Nithai Gaurahari, Srila Prabhupada, Srimati Vrindadevi - that you
will always remember Them And never forget Them. We shall pray for you on all our parikramas also.

Aspiring to be a servant of the servant,
Nama Cintamani dasi
